Just in time for the holiday season, shoppers at CF Pacific Centre in downtown Vancouver are being offered free parking on a limited time basis.

Cadillac Fairview announced today shoppers will be able to get two hours of free parking if they spend $200 or more at any of the 100 retailers within the mall, which includes anchor retailers Holt Renfrew and Nordstrom.

This offer is valid six days a week, between Sunday and Friday. The offer is not valid on Saturdays.

The shopping mall’s parking is located underground, and there are nearly 1,400 stalls, with the entrances located at the northeast corner of the intersection of Robson and Howe streets, east side of southbound Howe Street near West Georgia Street, and east side of southbound Howe Street near Dunsmuir Street.

Shoppers arriving by vehicle are required to validate their receipts of $200 or more at guest services, located next to Lush, and pick up the coupon for parking, which can be used in all pay stations or express pay in Lot 9.

CF Pacific Centre’s underground parking is operated by EasyPark. The weekday rate is $4 per 30 minutes, up to a daytime (5 am to 6 pm) maximum of $25.75 and overnight (6 pm to 5 am) maximum of $11.50.

The weekend and holiday rate is also $4 per 30 minutes, up to a daytime maximum of $12.50 and overnight maximum of $11.50. These rates include the GST and parking sales tax (24%).

The mall’s parking and other lots within downtown have been operating at well under capacity for much of the past year due to COVID-19’s impact on retail demand and office workers.
