Pacific Centre Apple Store Closed For Renovations

The Pacific Centre Apple store, the first in Vancouver, is a great location, however it is on the small side and lacks a street front entrance on Granville Street similar to H&M. According to IphoneinCanada.ca the store is currently under renovations and will open tomorrow October 1st as the renovations are simply cosmetic.

I say close it for however long it may take and make a street front two level store with an opening like this:

Now with that being said, Apple is rumoured to be looking for another location reportedly on Robson Street. This is expected to be a flagship two level store. More on that rumour as it develops. Until then Apple junkies will have to get their fix at Oakridge Centre.
