Police are investigating a shooting in Port Coquitlam that left one person with serious injuries.
Coquitlam RCMP Sergeant Tim Sylvestri says the incident happened outside of the apartment complex at 2381 Bury Avenue, at Wilson Avenue just before midnight.
Sylvestri couldn’t confirm what the extent of injuries were, or how many victims were involved.
KNW has learned at least one person was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
The Major Crime Section are leading the investigation.
Sylvestri says they are still in the very early stages and have no suspects at this point.
