How many beavers in Canada do you know that have their own Twitter account?
The furry residents are making waves in the community by settling in at Hinge Park in Olympic Village.
With the city becoming busier during the summer, Vancouver Park Board Biologist Nick Page says it raises concern.
“They’re not an animal that would attack humans for example, they use water, that’s why they’re building with logs under water, they’re using the water as a protective moat.”
Signs have been posted to remind people to keep their distance from the beavers.
