Thanks to the Downtown Vancouver Business Improvement Association (DVBIA), you’ll have the opportunity to take in all the revelry at the Indoor Party for free!
The DVBIA is giving away ticket packages to 12 individual (a combined total of 57 tickets!) so that they can ring in 2018 with their family and friends in proper fashion.
Vancouver’s third annual official, public celebration would not be possible without the DVBIA, which is a founding partner and key sponsor of the event. For over a quarter century, they have been committed to creating a downtown that is lively for all – filled with various enhanced experiences.
The Premium Indoor Party
A Celebration Pass will get you into this indoor party, which has the YVR World Stage featuring DJ Flip-Out and the Decibel Collective. And if you want to change things up, the party also offers the JRfm Party Stage, with Vancouver’s favourite urban country DJ, jaXon Hawks, spinning the ultimate party playlist. Also expect live sets and other performances, including a special appearance by Cold Specks.

Fully licensed bar service will be available for revellers, so that you can ring in 2018 with a glass of champagne and other concoctions.
And if you have kids, your Celebration Pass includes access to the indoor RE/MAX Family Zone, which features children’s entertainers, face painting, crafts and activities, and more.
Over 1,000 balloons will be dropped at this indoor party leading up to midnight, and there will be two spectacular fireworks displays launched from a barge strategically positioned in front of the convention centre’s floor-to-ceiling glass windows.

The first dazzling fireworks show at 9 pm is five minutes long while the even more intense midnight moment fireworks is 12 minutes.
