Northern Lights at Porteau Cove caught in beautiful time lapse (VIDEO)

Vancouverites have been looking to the sky this week after a geomagnetic storm led to excellent viewing conditions for the Northern Lights.

Whilst viewing conditions in the city were hardly ideal, those who ventured away from the light pollution captured some stunning shots of nature’s light show.

Among their number is YouTube user Adrian De Lisle, who posted this stunning time lapse of the Aurora Borealis doing its thing above Porteau Cove on Wednesday night.
