No Pants SkyTrain Ride Vancouver 2015

Dec 19 2017, 9:26 pm

Taking the SkyTrain this weekend? If you are, do not be surprised if someone is sitting next to you in their underwear. This weekend, hundreds will storm Metro Vancouver’s rapid transit rail network for the 6th annual No Pants SkyTrain Ride.

The “No Pants Subway Ride” is an annual global event that was started by Improv Everywhere in New York in 2002. It has existed for 14 years and now happens all over the world.

If you are participating in the cheeky event, please remember to not talk to others once you enter SkyTrain: no one knows each other.

Last year, over 200 Vancouverites took their pants off and this year even more are expected to participate.

Sit in the car and act as how you normally would. As soon as the doors shut, stand up and take your pants off and put them in your backpack. If anyone asks you why you have removed your pants, tell them that they were “getting uncomfortable.”

Full route details will be explained on the day of the event.
