Builders, hackers, makers, and innovators are being invited to bring their ideas to life at the third annual Next 36 Startup Sprint.
Next week, from Friday, October 12 to Saturday, October 13, NEXT Canada and ProtoHack are invited up to 150 bright, entrepreneurial minds for two days of learning, prototyping, and pitching high-impact solutions to global problems.
ProtoHack is an event that helps show budding entrepreneurs that they can create without having to write a single line of code.
Rather, participants will be using prototyping tools, drag and drop editors, mockups, wireframes, and anything else they can think of to demo their idea on stage.
During the 12-hour experience, competitors will work in teams of up to five, or solo – if they wish. You’ll be challenged to build a tool that communicates an idea visually while learning to use some of the best prototyping tools in the industry, as well as networking with like-minded individuals.
The winning team will earn a spot at the Next 36 National Selection weekend, taking place later this year, and there are a handful of other amazing prizes to be won.
The two-day schedule is as follows:
Friday, October 12, 2018
Saturday, October 13, 2018
Right now, the event has 65% of its tickets sold, but there’s still room for participants to join.
