An entirely new decade is almost here, and if you don’t have plans yet, you can say hello to 2020 in style with our list of things to do on New Year’s Eve.
From lavish yacht parties to burgers and beer, there’s no shortage of ways to ring in the new year.
One thing to note is that one of the largest New Year’s Eve celebrations in Canada, Concord’s New Year’s Eve fireworks spectacle, will not be returning to the Coal Harbour waterfront in downtown Vancouver, but it will return next year at a new location.

NYE 2020 @ TELUS World of Science
What: Featuring five fully licensed bars, two rooms of music on two floors, six of the city’s top DJs and performers, and an amazing sound and light system that will have you dancing as soon as you arrive. Cash bar only.

Skyfall NYE Party at the Trump Hotel
What: In true James Bond style, Skyfall is hosting the most daring and exquisite NYE experience ever planned in Vancouver. On December 31, experience the transformation of the Luxurious Grand Ballroom of the Trump Hotel and Dom Perignon’s Midnight in Eden at the IVY Lounge, which is restyling this world-famous venue and officially inviting in the public in March 2020! Highlights include midnight fireworks and balloon drop, six DJs, and live entertainment to keep the party going all night long.

What: NYE at Colony will have carnival games, food stations, prizes and music on Granville Street right in the heart of the Entertainment District. You can purchase general admission tickets, or for an added price, your ticket can include food and drink as well as a reserved table (by booking online).

New Year’s Eve at The Fox
What: New Year’s Eve at the Fox will be a roaring-20s-themed celebration, with dance, DJs, classic live music, comedy, drag, vintage 20s decor, live musical performances, and more.

NYE at Wildeye Brewing
What: You can enjoy a “tiki-style” celebration at Wildeye Brewing in North Vancouver. The night’s festivities include an exclusive menu of beer, wine, cider, and feature cocktails. The Dance Party will feature a live DJ spinning hits until 2 am. Tickets also include live entertainment, party favours, and a glass of bubbles at midnight.
