Where to get New Year's Day brunch in Vancouver
If you’re reading this, we have basically made it to New Year’s Day brunch, congratulations everyone.
Well, we haven’t reached this milestone just yet, but we are so close to finishing off this crumby year and welcoming in 2021.

It’s baaack! The DownLow Chicken Shack’s epic one-day-only offering, The Tag Team Burger, will be returning on January 1. This handheld is made with two 40-day dry-aged ground beef patties done Americana style with a boneless piece of thigh-in chicken the middle drizzled with DL Sauce and topped with lettuce.

We are seriously excited about this one-afternoon-only NYD menu. Head to Potluck from 11:30 am to 2:30 pm on January 1 and try five limited edition items including the omelette wrapped Ramly Smash-Burger, the Salted Egg Yolk Chicken Griddo, and the Fisherman’s Breakfast Poutine to name a few. These eats can be enjoyed for dine-in guests and also for preordered for takeout.

The popular downtown brekkie destination (which recently launched an evening service) is offering Festive Brunch Kits exclusively on December 23, 24, and 31, which means the latter is perfect for NYD breakfast preparation. You can get the ingredients to some of Medina’s most-loved brunch eats like Fricasée, Cassoulet, or Fricassée Champignon and make them at home.
