New Ukrainian bakery and cafe set to open in Vancouver this month

Kozak Ukraïnian Bakery is finally set to open in Vancouver later this month.

The 5077 Victoria Drive spot has been in the works for over a year, and it will officially open its doors on November 19.

The bakery will operate with limited hours for the soft opening the week of November 19 to 24 and during the grand opening from November 25 to December 1.

The new East Vancouver bakery will offer special occasion made-to-order breads like korovay (five business days’ notice is required), along with all-day breakfast, lunch, and dinner options, sweet and savoury buns, and caffeinated beverages.

Kozak currently operates a location in New West and has plans for a Gastown location in the future too.
