Those who love speciality coffee have a reason to celebrate because Nespresso is opening a small 335 square-foot store at the Oakridge Centre, according to retail-insider.com.
This store is set to open in March, and it will be the coffee and espresso retailer’s first permanent freestanding retail location in BC, and Western Canada overall.
Nespresso currently has a shop-in boutique at The Bay on Granville Street, along with a pop-up boutique in Surrey’s Guildford Mall, but both operations have to-be-determined closing dates.

Offering customers coffee, machines, and accessories for all their caffeinated favourites, the Nestlé-owned company is expected to do well in its new spot, as the boutique is planned to be located at a prime corner in the mall near luxury retailers like Harry Rosen and Tiffany & Co.
The Vancouver Oakridge store will be a place Nespresso lovers can count on being around for a while. It will be the sixth freestanding permanent location, or “mall-based” location, for the retailer in Canada.
The other mall-based stores are in Toronto’s Sherway Gardens and Yorkdale Shopping Centre, Quebec’s Place Ste-Foy and Carrefour Laval, and Ottawa’s Rideau Centre.
