The current pandemic has provided a lot of us with new ways of living our lives online. Not only are we turning to the internet for shopping and socializing, but now, even working out.

And although exercising at home is a great way to get fit, anyone who’s searched online to find a workout knows it can be hard to know how to get started, especially if you’re looking to build some solid exercise routine into your life. After all, how many random 20-minute YouTube workouts can you scroll through?

The MVMT Challenge is a 30-day home workout challenge launching on Monday, April 13. Every day you’ll receive a video, printable PDF, and access to five live-streamed coached sessions per day.

There are 30 trainers representing 15 different Vancouver gyms — each bringing a ton of energy and expertise to get you through the day.

The challenge is so much more than just a workout, though. It’s also a local initiative that’s bringing the Vancouver fitness community together all on one platform.

The five workouts each day run in the morning, at noon, and at night, so you can attend depending on whatever your day looks like. And if you happen to miss a workout, don’t stress — the workouts also save to your platform for you to watch at any time.

The program costs $30 — that’s only $1 for every class. And as if that wasn’t enough to get you excited, by entering the contest below, you can win 30 days of free Body Energy smoothies or a helicopter prize picnic for you and your quarantine partner (NBD)!

The workouts build from week to week and can help you take yourself from whatever fitness level you’re at to wherever you want to be. And best of all, they’re designed to be done at home with things you have around the house.

“We specifically designed this program around Vancouver’s ridiculously small apartment sizes. All the workouts are designed to be done in no more than a 5Ă—5 space,” reads the MVMT Challenge’s website.

Not only will you be learning from the pros and working on your overall health and wellbeing, but you will also be supporting the Vancouver fitness industry and other small businesses.

“The MVMT Challenge is about bringing everyone together at a time when we are meant to be apart,” says MVMT Challenge co-founder, Mark Milburn. “We’re partnering with small businesses to showcase them and offer promotions on their products to help them get through this tough time as well. Our goal is to help 100 small Vancouver-based businesses in one month.”

The MVMT Challenge isn’t your usual challenge. The program is designed to be both fun and also push you to reach your fitness goals — whether you’re trying to lose weight, get some abs for summer, or build strength.

Mark your calendar and get your living room ready — the challenge is now open for registration and the first live stream starts the challenge starts on Monday, April 13 at 7 am.

Support your local fitness community, take your mind off things even for just an hour, relieve stress, and get fit!
