This Vancouver museum wants you to share your quarantine experience

How’ve you been holding up during coronavirus?

Have you realized that you’ve taken something for granted? Are you a frontline worker? Have you learned something new?

The Museum of Vancouver (MOV) would like to know.

In an effort to learn about how people are adapting to the new world in quarantine, the museum is asking for the public to share their feelings and how they’ve been keeping busy in the new indoor reality.

Understanding that life has taken a dramatic turn over the past weeks, the MOV is urging the public to show off aspects of their new lifestyle.

Appropriately titled Isolating Together, the museum is calling on Vancouverites to share their videos, writings, performances, art, and confessions to social media using the hashtag #IsolatingTogetherMOV.

Submissions will be accessioned into MOV’s virtual database and may be used for a future project such as a small exhibition, lobby projection, or learning tool in their education department.

Those without public Instagram and Twitter accounts are encouraged to submit posts through the dedicated Facebook group.
