Canada's most expensive home for sale right now is in Vancouver (PHOTOS)
We all know Vancouver is a pricey place to put down roots. Now, a new report from Point2Homes has solidified that even further, with Canada’s most expensive home listing in the country.
The report ranked the top 10 priciest homes currently for sale in Canada, and coming in at number one was a penthouse located on top of the Fairmont Pacific Rim in the city’s downtown, at 4702 1011 West Cordova Street.
The price? A cool $38 million.
According to the listing, “this brilliantly designed two level residence encompasses approximately 6700 sq. ft. of expansive living with over 2, 900 additional sq. ft. of outdoor courtyard and terraces all enjoying one of the most prized city, mountain, and water views.”
The Point2Homes report noted that although “these staggering prices remain prohibitive for most people, compared to last year’s figures, the values for the most expensive homes in 2018 have toned down significantly.”
In fact, $38 million almost looks like a deal, when compared with the country’s highest-priced home in 2017. That of course, was Belmont Estate, which was listed for $63 million.
To entice potential buyers even further, the home features a gym, numerous entertainment options, unlimited views, and tons of room for entertaining the numerous guests who will surely want to visit your new pad.
