The 2nd annual Monstercat Compound block party returns to Railtown this summer

After a highly successful inaugural launch of the Monstercat Compound in 2017, the Vancouver block party has announced its return for a second consecutive year.

On Saturday, August 25, the second annual Monstercat Compound, presented by Sapporo, will bring a massive party to Railtown with live performances and interactive experiences.

According to event organizers, the “Compound is a big ‘thank you’ to the city [they] call home and as such is a totally free event” – all you have to do is RSVP.

Attendees to the event can expect performances from fan favourite artists including Vicetone, Dwilly, Bishu, Tails, and a live performance debut from Conro.

New to the festival this year is a second stage, presented by Groundwork and powered by MusicBC.

In addition to the live performances, the Compound will also feature workshops, video games, art, merch, carnival games, and a food truck.

With so much more being brought to this year’s festival, the 2018 Monstercat Compound looks to be a must-visit event.
