A mock-up of the Canucks Heritage Classic set-up

On Thursday, Reddit r/hockey user “harpster” shared a mock-up of what next March’s big Heritage Classic could look like, when it’s held in BC Place. It was originally created by Canucks fan @brenasaur.

In case you haven’t heard, the NHL announced that the Vancouver Canucks would play host to the Ottawa Senators in an “outdoor” matchup on Sunday, March 2, 2014. It’s not known whether BC Place will retract its roof as it does for Whitecaps and Lions games as weather could be an issue, but with the game held to emulate the traditional background of the good ol’ hockey game, let’s hope they do (even if it rains!).
