Milli Millu Vancouver Handbag

Still looking for the perfect Fall/Winter bag? Well look what we stumbled upon by Milli Millu which was blogged about on Bag Snob.

The aptly named Vancouver handbag is an easy to wear crossbody bag with just a ‘hint’ of fun found in the gold calfskin leather. Now, I say a ‘hint’ of fun because Vancouver is consistently marked as being a ‘no fun city’ with little fashion, including this review of the Milli Millu Vancouver handbag by Bag Snob but, in my opinion I know some pretty fashionably people in the city and I also have fun in this city, don’t you? Plus I think we are pretty badass, didn’t anyone see the riots after the Stanley Cup?! (Too soon to joke about it?) Vancouver will never be New York or LA nor do we ever claim to be like those cities. We live in a beautiful city with an abundance of inspiration. Simply take a stroll, not in a mall preferably, and you find stunning pieces by local designers such as Ashley Watson, Dace, Obakki and the ever popular John Fluevog.

But, back to this handbag by Milli Mulli, I think it’s pretty fly. For the Vancouver girl on the go wanting to add some flare to her outfit, it fits the bill. Milli Millu is a new London based line that put its first Fall/Winter collection out this AW11 season. The line is great for that woman on the go wanting a practical yet fashionable handbag and not having to sacrifice style for practicality or vice versa. To me, the Vancouver crossbody bag is exactly that, easy to use yet stunning to look at. What I love about this handbag is that it has a long shoulder strap. This is a feature that screams flexibility. Rock it in the day strung across your body, or folded under the flap to class up in the evening. The gold coloured calfskin leather enables you to use it with all the fab neon colours that are coming out for the season. No matter what your style is, this is a great accessory to add to your collection.

And to you fashionistas out there wearing those amazing oversized hats, killer ankle boots, and fantastic duel fabricated jackets this Fall/Winter season, I see you, keep up the good work. Don’t worry fellas, I see you too with your lace up boots, fitted chinos whether you’re in your letterman or fitted field style jacket. We all know Vancouver is fashionable, those nay sayers are just looking in all the wrong places.
