Two of Vancouver’s greatest entertainers took their show on the road.

Michael Bublé did what he does best, while Vancouver Canucks star Elias Pettersson was a little out of his comfort zone, as they serenaded the families and staff at Canuck Place Children’s Hospice.

“Happy holidays,” Pettersson said, greeting everyone inside Canuck Place from the driveway. “I’m happy to be here. Unfortunate I can’t come inside because of this COVID. But lucky for you — or for me — we’re going to sing a few songs.”

“A special hello to all you beautiful doctors and nurses, kids, and your beautiful moms and dads and everybody,” added Bublé. “I’m so happy to be here, I wish I could be inside too.”

Canuck Place is a pediatric palliative care provider for children with life-threatening illnesses, and their families. Because of the pandemic,Bublé and Pettersson had to remain outside, but they appeared to still able to delight the people inside by belting out a few Christmas carols.
