Summer is in full swing in Metro Vancouver, and while there are plenty of fun activities to look forward to, will the weather cooperate?
The rollercoaster forecast continues for the region, with Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC) predicting inland temperatures could feel like 30°C to start the week.
However, you will need to keep your umbrellas nearby as showers are set to return for several days.

Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC)
The latest forecast shows that Metro Vancouver temperatures could hit a high of 30°C inland on Monday, July 7.
However, the temperatures with the Humidex can feel as high as 32°C, with a UV index of 8 or very high.
According to the Government of Canada, Humidex measures how warm we feel in hot, humid weather.

Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC)
“Environment Canada uses humidex ratings to inform the general public when conditions of heat and humidity are potentially uncomfortable.”
However, showers return on Tuesday night and continue throughout Wednesday. Mid-week highs in Metro Vancouver are expected to hit 19°C on Wednesday and 21°C on Thursday, with overnight lows dropping to 13°C.
Sunshine is expected to heat things up again to start the weekend, with Friday forecast to reach a high of 23°C.
So keep the sunscreen and umbrella nearby, as you will be needing both of them this week.
