Rain, snow and (maybe) some sunshine in store for Vancouver this week

Grab that cozy toque, dig out your scarf, and dust off your umbrella – this week’s weather is going to be wild.

Don’t let the relatively calm start to the week fool you. More snow is set to hit Metro Vancouver on Monday evening and the rest of this week’s forecast calls for more snow, a dash of rain, and if we’re lucky, a little bit of sunshine just for good measure too.

It’s not all doom and gloom however.

Wednesday and Friday call for a mix of sunshine and showers, before we reach the heady high of 7°C on Saturday when The Weather Network predicts the city will see a whole six hours of sunshine.

Six hours! Just think of the Vitamin D you’ll be able to soak up.

But don’t put your umbrella away just yet.

With such unpredictable weather, Environment Canada is calling for periods of rain all week. It seems at this point, the weather in Vancouver is a real guessing game.
