We want to know: Where's the worst park or beach for summer parking in Metro Vancouver?

Whether youâre headed to White Pine Beach, Spanish Banks, or a city park in Burnaby or North Van, one thingâs clear: finding parking at a park or beach this summer is brutal.
On Canada Day alone, Port Moody Police said around 60 vehicles were towed and dozens of tickets were issued near White Pine Beach due to illegal parking, just one example of how chaotic long weekends have become.
Even parks with large lots, like Buntzen Lake, can fill up by 7 a.m.
And it’s not just the beaches.
City parks and rec zones across Burnaby, Surrey, Coquitlam, and Vancouver are seeing crowds, clogged roads, and packed lots.Â
If youâve been caught in the mess or figured out a time slot that actually works, we want to hear from you.
Whether itâs a hidden gem, early morning hack, or total nightmare, send your summer park and beach parking story or tip to vancouver@dailyhive.com, and we may follow up for an upcoming piece.
