Metro Vancouver gas prices are currently the lowest since January 2018.
Average gas prices across the region reached $1.38 per litre on Thursday –the lowest it’s been since the January 4 of this year.

“A combination of increased output from US PNW refiners and stable demand has lead to part of the decrease, while [White Texas Intermediate crude] dropping $20 a barrel in five weeks explains the balance of a decrease which was once at a record 163.9 cents per litre back on Saturday, October 13,” Dan McTeague of Gasbuddy.com told Daily Hive.
