Don’t put those umbrellas away just yet – Vancouver is in for some very, very rainy weather.
According to Environment Canada, Vancouverites could be facing seven straight days of showers.
In fact, the city could be seeing more rain over the course of next week than it did during the entire month of March.

The precipitation is predicted to begin on Wednesday.
Thursday could see a little sunshine, although it’ll be mixed with clouds and a 40% chance of showers.
But on Friday, the rainfall intensifies, with showers taking place throughout most of the day.
“We’ll see periods of heavy rain on Friday and Saturday and a bit of wind,” says Carmen Hartt, Meteorologist with Environment and Climate Change Canada.
Fortunately, temperatures over the next week will remain fairly mild, despite the rain.
Daytime temperatures range from 10°C to 14°C; nighttime temperatures will range from 6°C to 9°C.
