According to Environment Canada’s latest forecast for the weekend, daytime temperature highs over the weekend will reach 28°C near the water in areas like Vancouver, Richmond, Tsawwassen, and the North Shore.

Peak temperatures gradually increase further eastward into inland areas, with areas such as Coquitlam, Surrey, Langley, and the Fraser Valley expected to see highs of 32°C by Sunday.
Conditions will be scorching in Whistler and Pemberton, where temperatures could reach 35°C.
A large high pressure system that moved over the South Coast earlier this week will dominate conditions for the foreseeable future, leading to an extended period of clear skies, sunshine, and warmth that could last through at least Canada Day weekend.
