McDonald's employee tests positive for coronavirus in Burnaby

McDonald’s Canada has confirmed that an employee at one of its Metro Vancouver locations has tested positive for COVID-19.

On September 9, a McDonald’s employee who works at the 7229 Kingsway restaurant in Burnaby reported that they had tested positive for coronavirus.

The employee’s last shift was on September 6 from noon to 4 pm. All staff who may have been in close contact with the employee have been asked to self-quarantine until further information is available.

This location was shut down for thorough cleaning and sanitation, but the restaurant has now reopened.

Patrons who may have visited this restaurant on September 6 are asked to take directions from the experts at the BC Centre for Disease Control.
