McDonald's employee tests positive for coronavirus in Surrey

McDonald’s Canada has confirmed that an employee at one of its Metro Vancouver locations has tested positive for COVID-19.

On September 12, a McDonald’s employee who works at the 8586 120 Street restaurant in Surrey reported that they had tested positive for coronavirus.

The employee’s last shift was on September 10 from 5 am to 1 pm. All staff who may have been in close contact with the employee have been asked to self-quarantine until further information is available.

This location was shut down for thorough cleaning and sanitation, but the restaurant has now reopened.

Patrons who may have visited this restaurant on September 10 are asked to take directions from the experts at the BC Centre for Disease Control.
