Police responded to a disturbing incident in Vancouver involving a pregnant woman earlier this week.
The Vancouver Police Department (VPD) says that the woman, a business owner, had asked the male suspect to “move from in front of her store.”
The suspect allegedly responded by “throwing rocks at her stomach.”

VPD says that the woman is eight months pregnant. She called the police and they found the suspect nearby.
“He was arrested and taken to jail, where he assaulted a VPD sergeant by coughing on him,” says police.
Fortunately, the business owner was not physically injured.
