Man linked to 'gang conflict' identified as Surrey shooting victim

A 30-year-old man has been identified as the victim of Friday’s shooting in Surrey.

According to IHIT, were called to the 13900 block of 58A Avenue at approximately 7:15 pm on February 1, after a report that shots were fired.

Upon arrival, an adult victim was found suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite all attempts to resuscitate them, they succumbed to their injuries.

Shortly after the shooting, RCMP was alerted to a burning vehicle in the area of King George Boulevard and Colebrook Road.

IHIT has confirmed that the victim is Bikramjit ‘Bicky’ Khakh. He is believed to be linked to ongoing gang conflict in the Lower Mainland.
