Young man dead in drowning at North Vancouver's Lynn Canyon

Emergency responders are at Lynn Canyon in North Vancouver this evening after a young male adult drowned in the area’s waters.

The incident occurred early this evening in the swimming area that is near the free suspension bridge attraction.

The man was with a group of friends at the time of the incident. Responders are now undertaking a body recovery operation.
