The man who was caught on camera making racist slurs over an apparent parking lot enforcement altercation in Abbotsord has turned himself in.

Abbotsford Police told Daily Hive that Karry Vernon Corbett, 47, a resident of Hope, surrendered to law enforcement at Abbotsford courthouse today – two weeks after the incident occurred. He faces two counts of Assault, one count of Uttering Threats, and one count of Causing a Disturbance.

The video, which went viral earlier this month, shows a Caucasian male shouting and behaving aggressively at the individual, a South Asian man, filming the incident. According to Abbotsford Police, the South Asian man intervened in the incident while he was passing by and heard Corbett make threats to a parking lot attendant for issuing a ticket to a pick-up truck for double parking.

“You f*cking Paki, go back to f*cking India,” said the man. “F*cking Hindu… White power motherf*cker.”

A Canada-wide warrant for his arrest was issued on Monday.
