RCMP in North Vancouver have arrested a man for exposing himself to three female teenagers.

On Tuesday, October 28 at approximately 3:30 p.m., the suspect allegedly drove up to the female victims in the Ridgewood Drive and Edgemont Boulevard area.

From his vehicle, the suspect confronted the girls for a sexual favour in exchange for cash while exposing himself. The girls, two aged 15 and one 17, ran off and were not physically touched or harmed.

Police promptly issued a public alert for a male suspect described as between the ages of 25 to 35, 5’11” tall and olive skinned with a slim build and short black hair.

An arrest was made on Tuesday, November 4 after police received numerous tips from the public. A 28-year-old male, who is not a resident of North Vancouver, will be facing criminal charges of an indecent act.

“Police appreciate and are thankful for the public’s diligence in looking out for the suspect vehicle”, said Cpl. Richard De Jong of the North Vancouver RCMP in a statement. “Public safety is paramount, especially when it involves the vulnerability of our youth.”
