Macarons in Vancouver: Ganache Patisserie

Dec 19 2017, 3:47 pm

We have explored the various cakes at Ganache Patisserie previously, but did we mention it is also another location for Parisian macarons? Since December 2003, when the store opened, Peter Fong has been churning out various flavours of macarons.

Before even entering the store, one can already smell the air of desserts. Peter captures his love for Paris with the well placed decorations and cakes inside Ganache Patisserie.

Ganache Patisserie sells pre-packaged macarons to ensure its freshness. These are made in house and there is a rotating menu of flavours depending on the season. A small box of 9 retails at $8.95 and a larger box of 20 macarons retails at $19.95.

Some flavours include raspberry, chocolate, passionfruit, pistachio, lemon, and coffee. These macarons are made to be bite sized, you can eat six of them in a go and still have room for more! Soft and creamy, it is hard to not grab for more. Not only can the macarons be bought to go as a treat, but Peter makes macarons as wedding favours as well. Brides can choose flavours and the colour combinations they want.

These colourful, edible gems are a small part of the magnificent desserts Peter Fong carries at Ganache. One needs to stop by Ganache Patisserie to capture the range of desserts that are inspired from the French culture.
