“A lot of clients are now investing into the pre-owned market and profiting when they resell after they are done enjoying the bag.” She also explains how women can shop safely and securely online amid the pandemic with delivery right to their doorsteps.
Luxe Du Jour’s consignment fees are notably low when compared to competitors. Here’s a look at the current fees, which start at a minimum of $100:
- Under $500 ($100 fee)
- $500 to $2,500 (19%)
- $2,501 to $5,000 (17%)
- $5,001 to $10,000 (15%)
- Over $10,001 (12%)
The company also offers a cash buyout for authentic designer bags. This is something you receive when your item has been approved for sale by the company.
It means that if you don’t want to wait for someone to purchase the item via the Luxe Du Jour website, the company will offer you a lower quote option — for instant funds — valid for 30 days.
When consignment or buyout quotes are accepted, the relevant documents are printed out by sellers and attached to the item. You then have the option to drop the item off at the location provided by Luxe Du Jour or to send it to the Calgary HQ by mail.
