Discover talented young Vancouverites at Lucky Lady IV, Vancouver's Urban Festival

Historically a yacht event for the university community, Lucky Lady IV (LLIV) took place during convocation, graduation and the beginning of summer in the city. As the event has grown, LLIV has turned into a three-day event to include job opportunities for emerging young professionals, a fashion show, food fest and live music. With the event now referred to as Vancouver’s Urban Festival by the community, it is sure to be a showcase of fun and excitement.

Over the next few weeks, we will focus on the various events occurring throughout the three days. Today, we begin with focusing on the root of LLIV: the boat party that takes place on day two of the event.

A yacht event like no other, inspired by Beyonce: FLAWLESS, is slated to set sail from Coal Harbour to Point Grey on Saturday, June 20, or Day 2: Discover.

Expecting over 400 attendees, the signature red carpet event showcases quality entertainers and a fashion show, which features local companies like Sleepless Mindz and Vancity Tribe. Calabash Bistro, the Vancouver Caribbean restaurant will be catering the event while attendees enjoy three different dance floors with different genres of music, all with the picturesque view of Vancouver’s waterfront.
