One of Canada’s leading destinations for consignment, Love that Bag etc, has announced the launch of its brand-new consignment office in Vancouver.
The Montreal-based business has a brick-and-mortar location on Rue Saint-Ambroise, which is open to the public by appointment only. But a huge portion of its work is carried out online, with more than 110,000 website visits every month.
Specializing in consigning luxury brands, like Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Hermès, Gucci, and Dior, to name a few, the boutique has differentiated itself from competitors by offering personalized VIP at-home pick-ups for local clients in Montreal.
Now the largest Canadian reseller of authentic pre-owned designer handbags, fashion, and accessories, Love that Bag etc brings over seven years of experience to Vancouver’s luxury consignment market, with its first location in the city in the Seymour Building.
Love that Bag etc has a team of experts who look after the online selling process in its entirety. This includes everything from authentication to professional photography and marketing.
“Everyone benefits by playing their part in the circular economy,” President of Love that Bag etc, Caroline Reny, said in a press release. “Consignors give new life to their luxury goods by reselling them, and someone else gets to cherish and appreciate them. The best part is that we’re all helping the environment by extending the lifecycle of these fashions.”
The online consignment destination offers consigners an avenue to a higher return on their initial investment, and they can earn up to 75% of the price of their designer fashions and accessories listed on the site.

There’s a waiting list for buyers — over 10,000 of them — who are seeking out specific handbags via Love that Bag etc. When the pre-loved product comes in, they’re notified right away through a custom alert system, giving them a first chance to purchase.
To avail of this service, clients need to consign just five items or more. (This will be available to consigners in Vancouver when it’s safe to do so.) Clients can, however, visit the new Seymour Street office to drop off any items once they have a scheduled appointment.
“We’re absolutely thrilled to be here and to be accessible to Vancouver locals more than ever before with the launch of our Vancouver office,” Reny added. “We look forward to providing consignors in Vancouver with the same convenience and high level of service we have provided to our consignors in Montreal.”
