This week's Lotto Max draw is worth $55 million

Halloween could add a pretty big treat this year, as this week’s Lotto Max jackpot is worth a cool $55 million.

The total prize pool for the Lotto Max draw on Friday, October 30 will be about $61 million, including six prizes of $1 million.

The Canada-wide lottery costs $5 to play, and the minimum $10 million prize can grow from draw-to-draw up to $70 million if no prizes are won during Friday’s and Tuesday’s draws.

Money-bag-hopefuls can play online, using the mobile app, or at a Loto-Québec retailer throughout the country. Players can pick numbers or opt for one or more selections randomly generated by the Loto-Québec computer.

One game includes three selections of seven numbers from 1 to 50.

To win, you need to get in a single selection three, four, five, six, or seven numbers that are identical to those of the winning selection.
