Jackpot to soar after no winning ticket sold for $50M Lotto Max prize

After two weeks in a row without a grand prize winner — this week’s Lotto Max jackpot is set to soar.

There was no winning ticket that matched all seven numbers for Friday’s $50-million prize. The week before there was no winner for the $35.7-million jackpot.

The March 29 draw saw six winners across the country, but those prizes were only $78,331.30 each because only 6/7 number matched.

Without a grand prize winner, this means the draw on Friday will be a whopping $55-million.

The chance of matching all 7/7 winning numbers for the $55-million prize are one in 28,633,528.

But look on the bright side. The odds of winning ANY prize in the draw — including a free ticket — are 1 in 6.6.
