The provincial government says the closures are necessary for joint and bearing repairs on the bridge.
Closures will be in place during the following times:
- Thursday, November 7 beginning at 10 pm and ending at 5 am on Friday, November 8
“The sidewalks will remain open for pedestrians and cyclists. However, drivers should expect delays during this period and may want to consider an alternative route,” said the BC Ministry of Transportation in a statement.
“Future lane closures will be required to complete the repairs, which will be confirmed and communicated in advance of the work.”
