Laurence & Chico Café has quietly closed its doors in Vancouver

The Laurence & Chico Café, located at 833 Bute Street, has quietly closed its doors.

The bizarrely-wonderful eatery had been offering tea service in its Alice in Wonderland-like dining room since opening in spring 2018.

The West End destination was created and designed by dynamic design duo Laurence Li and Chico Wang.

The pair had taken their intricate, detailed, and eccentric womenswear and accessories brand and applied it to a cafe format.

This cafe was the ideal place to snap an Insta-worth photo, especially in the bathroom.

In February, a representative of Laurence & Chico told Dished Vancouver they were “still in the process of closing” but did not provide a reason for the closure in time for publishing.
