Last chance to register for Port Mann introductory toll rate of $1.50

Metro Vancouver commuters who use the new Port Mann Bridge will have until the end of the Thursday to register their car and have recurring payment method on file with TReO to keep the introductory toll rate of $1.50.

Registered owners or lease holders of the vehicle can register their car online at TReO’s website in minutes and a free windshield decal will be mailed to you. Owners will need to know their vehicle make and license plate number to register. To take advantage of pre-authorized payments, a credit card or the transit, account and institution numbers to a bank account are needed.

For vehicles not registered by Friday, the toll for the bridge is set to double from $1.50 to $3 each way for cars, pick-up trucks, and SUVs. It will increase from $1 to $1.50 for motorcycles and from $4.50 to $6 for cars with trailers, cube vans, and motorhomes.

The introductory toll rate for registered drivers will end on November 30, 2013 and the standard toll rate be in place for all drivers beginning December 1.

The TReO site is available in English, French, Traditional and Simplified Chinese, Korean and Punjabi.

Toll Rates for Registered Vehicles (Beginning March 1)

  • Motorcycles (A motor vehicle that runs on two or three wheels.) – $1.00
  • Small Vehicles (Cars, pick-up trucks, and SUVs) – $1.50
  • Medium Vehicles (A car with a trailer or a cube van or a motorhome.) – $4.50
  • Large Vehicles (A commercial truck tractor with one or more trailers, or a motorbus or large motorhome.) $9

Toll Rates for Unregistered Vehicles (Beginning March 1)

  • Motorcycles – $1.50
  • Small Vehicles – $3.00
  • Medium Vehicles – $6.00
  • Large Vehicles – $9.00

Toll Rates for All Vehicles (Beginning December 1)

  • Motorcycles – $1.50
  • Small Vehicles – $3.00
  • Medium Vehicles – $6.00
  • Large Vehicles – $9.00
