A Metro Vancouver and Fraser Valley painting company is getting all kinds of attention after making a racist post on its Facebook page.
The post, which was shared on its page on January 28, reads, “We serve White Europeans only.”
In response, it has led to many comments and has been shared on various social media platforms.

The company, which goes by Valley cupboard painting and is based in Chilliwack, posted this on Facebook:
In response to the post, many Facebook users expressed frustration.
One user said, “If only you could see how stupid you guys look. Racism is a sign of very low iq. Look it up if you don’t believe me…”
Some white Europeans also responded to the post.
“Not getting my business. Signed a white European.”
Someone also shared the post to the Langley subreddit, stating that they’ve reported it to the RCMP and also shared it with local news outlets.
“How can that even be real lol,” one Redditor said.
They added, “How does an extremely niche company that paints only cupboard and only apparently for white people and only Europeans stay in business?”
Even before the post went up, Google Reviews for the company weren’t great. Based on 10 reviews, it currently has 1 out of 5 stars.
Daily Hive has attempted to call the company and message it through Facebook for a response about its intentions behind the ad and its reaction to the response it’s getting, but we have not yet heard back.
Chilliwack RCMP told Daily Hive that it is aware of the post and is investigating.
