One man is in hospital in serious condition after a shooting outside Richmond’s Landsdowne Centre shopping mall this morning.

According to Richmond RCMP, officers were were called to the scene just after 7:30 am, to assist BC Ambulance Service (BCAS) paramedics who were responding to a possible shooting victim.

Upon their arrival, officers found a man suffering from gunshot injuries.

Richmond RCMP are asking anyone who may have been a witness to this event and have not already spoken to police to call 604-278-1212 and cite file 2018-41056.
