La Taqueria to open up in old Hornby Street Steamrollers spot
You lose some burritos, and then you win some: In an unsurprising announcement today, local taco powerhouse La Taqueria has revealed they will indeed be the new tenant at 586 Hornby Street in the space vacated recently by Steamrollers.
It will be a quick turnover for the 90-seat location; Steamrollers shuttered at the end of January, and La Taqueria is eyeing an April open for this fifth location of their dine-in and take-out fast-casual Mexican joint.

This will be the biggest La Taqueria of the bunch, and the menu will be familiar to fans of the mini-chain: Tacos, quesadillas, salsas and guac, and…they’re adding burritos. (See, you can still get some burritos here, guys!)

Office dwellers will likely love the the weekday happy hour, and La Taqueria is expanding their selection of alcoholic beverages available at this location. The restaurant will be open seven days a week, too.
