La Ruota taking over former Assembli space on Cambie Street

It’s out with one pizza chain and in with another: La Ruota will be opening on Cambie Street where make-your-own spot Assembli used to operate.

La Ruota is currently setting up shop at Assembli’s former 2325 Cambie Street location in the heart of Vancouver’s Cambie Village.

Assembli opened back in 2017 at this address. The brand also has an outpost on West Hastings Street but it’s currently marked as “temporarily closed” on its website.

The La Ruota brand has an outpost in Coquitlam and another in Vancouver on W 4th in Kitsilano. It’s known for its Neapolitan-style pizza.
