Okay, so maybe we don’t know when things will open back up again, but what we do know is that one ramen chain has plans for expansion.

Kokoro Tokyo Mazesoba, known for its mazesoba (soupless ramen), is planning to open a new Vancouver location.

The brand’s fourth location is slated to open at UBC. It was initially scheduled to open this summer, but Kokoro has announced it might look more like a fall reveal due to COVID-19.

Known for its signature ramen made with soba noodles, raw egg yolk, chives, minced garlic, pork, ground saba fish, and seaweed flakes, Kokoro currently operates three locations in BC.

These spots include North Vancouver, Coquitlam, and downtown Vancouver on Seymour Street.

We’ll keep you posted on an exact opening date for this spot; until then, find some delicious noodles on our ultimate list of takeout and delivery to enjoy at home.
