Kodak Black's Vancouver show cancelled after arrest at Canada-US border

American rapper-songwriter Kodak Black will no longer be performing in Vancouver — as he deals with potential drugs and weapon accusations.

Kodak was initially scheduled to perform in Vancouver on March 26 but that show was postponed to May 7.

According to Live Nation, the rapper’s rescheduled concert at the PNE Forum has now been cancelled due to “unforeseen circumstances.”

The news comes after Kodak was arrested on weapons and drug charges at the US border last week. According to TMZ, the rapper cut through Canada to get from Detroit to Boston. Kodak was denied entry into the US because border offers reportedly found a gun and weed in the car he was driving.

He was a no-show at his Boston concert, where angry fans were left without an explanation of his absence.

TMZ says that Kodak’s chances of re-entering Canada were in jeopardy due to his recent arrest and it looks like that is exactly why he was forced to cancel his Vancouver show.

Live Nation says that ticket refunds will be issued at point of purchase.
