Scandinavian home furnishing brand opening new 16,000 sq ft Richmond location
Jysk, one of the world’s fastest-growing retailers, is expanding its footprint in Metro Vancouver with the opening of its second location in Richmond.
The Scandinavian home furnishing brand has announced that it will soon open a 16,000 sq ft store at 3331 Jacombs Road.
Sean Bunnage, retail operations specialist for Jysk, explains that the new Richmond location will showcase a new concept for the company, which has over 3,500 stores in 48 countries.

“We are excited to bring the latest Jysk concept to Richmond,” said Bunnage in a release. “This is a new concept for us, a dedicated showroom that showcases our product in a unique way. We anticipate a very positive reaction come opening day.”
An opening date for the new Richmond store has not yet been announced, but shoppers can look forward to shopping home furnishing décor with Scandinavian design.

Jysk offers a variety of items for all rooms in the home, including mattresses and bedding for the bedroom, chairs and desks for the office, sofas and recliners for the living room, and tables and dining sets for the dining room.
The first Canadian Jysk store opened in Coquitlam in 1996, and the retailer operates over 70 stores in Canada. The new Richmond location, which is taking over a space previously held by Home Delight Furnishings and Maynards, will be its fifth in Metro Vancouver.
