JFL Northwest, Vancouver’s very own Just For Laughs comedy festival, has just announced the first wave of performers for the 2020 festival.
The event, entering its fifth year, will take place from February 13 to 25, 2020, and looks to bring a star-studded lineup to Vancouver.
Bill Burr, an American comedian, has sold out multiple venues worldwide. He recently shot his sixth hour-long comedy special and has worked in a number of film and television productions including F is For Family, Daddy’s Home, and Walk of Shame. He also played a role in Breaking Bad.
He’ll be performing at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre on Friday, February 21 at 7 and 9:30 pm.

Hanna Gadsby, an Emmy and Peabody award-winning comedian, has recently come into the spotlight through her stand-up show Nanette. The show sold out in Australia, London, Edinburgh, New York, and Los Angeles, before launching on Netflix.
Due to popular demand, JFL says that Gadsby will have multiple performances at the Orpheum Theatre including Monday, February 24 at 7:30 pm and Tuesday, February 25 at 7:30 pm.
Malaysian-born Chinese stand-up comedian and actor Ronny Chieng will be performing at the Vogue on Saturday, February 22. Chieng stars on The Daily Show with Trevor Noah as a senior correspondent and appeared in the critically-acclaimed production, Crazy Rich Asians.

Tickets for the event will be made available for pre-sale on Tuesday, December 3 at 10 am and will be available to the general public on Friday, December 6 at 10 am on the JFL Northwest website.
