If you think you can dodge the cops by trying to hide your expired insurance sticker, think again.
That’s the message Cst. James Hooper with the Vancouver Police Department is sending to drivers.
Hooper posted a picture on Twitter showing a driver who sneakily tried to conceal their expired insurance tag with a dog blanket sticking out of their trunk.
But their not-so-clever plan definitely did not work.

“Irresponsible motorist: “The cops will never figure out I have no insurance with this blanket covering my insurance tag. Me: “Here’s your $598 ticket,'” wrote Hooper on Twitter.
Take this as a reminder that you can’t hide the fact you’re breaking the law — even if you use a blanket.
